Advanced Center For Nursing and Rehabilitation Welcomes Prestigious Medical Group To Its Staff

(New Haven, CT) December 8 – Vice President of Business Development at the Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Michael Salamon is pleased to announce that Physiatrist Rakhi Sutaria, MD has joined the medical team and will be seeing patients at Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation located at 169 Davenport Ave, New Haven, CT 0651.

Dr. Sutaria received her Doctor of Medicine from the St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY and served as the Chief Resident. As a Physiatrist, she specializes in maximizing patients’ function and independence after a disabling physical ailment or condition. Dr. Sutaria is trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) to treat a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. She’ll be working alongside the Medical Director, attending physicians, clinical and rehab teams to educate and guide patients through individualized care plans. She is a staff physiatrist with National Health Rehabilitation, a physicians group based out of Edgewater, NJ and White Plains, NY with 35 physiatrists partnering with almost 100 skilled nursing facilities in over a dozen states.

Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is a full service, 226-bed post-acute and long term care care center.
